I had this family vacation planned a year in advanced and we booked the cabin, paid for it all it was all set on the calendar and the truth is, I never really took my planned vacations, I always saved them up or took them in small chunks instead. But this time was different, I was set to enjoy a full 14-days in on a lake with my lovely wife and my 2 boys Adam and Damian.

No distractions, no cell phones, no pagers or walkie talkies calling me to help because they are short staff or you need to stay longer because you are salary.

I just wanted to use 14 days off after 16 years of dedication and loyalty to the company. The countless times I covered others shifts and spent time away from my family to do my very best for the company.

I’d filled out all the appropriate forms and followed the company rules, well in advance. (actually, a full year in advanced). As I sat across the desk from my boss, I couldn’t believe it when she said… “I’m sorry Rafal, but we are short those weeks and other manger with more seniority booked those same dates as you.”

I’m not goanna lie, I was shocked, devastated and just straight out pissed. 16 years and countless hours of dedication to feel like a number, a cog in the machine. Being treated that way and having others get vacation a year in advanced and they could not help me out come on I have spent 16 years here. It felt like a slap in the face.

Something snapped inside and I knew I had to do something different.

I remember driving home in traffic and thinking in my head how I am going to tell my wife and kids that we can’t go. I sat down with my wife and told her we would have to postpone our family vacation while I covered at work.

I remember the look on her face like it was yesterday. I was letting her and the family down and I knew it.

Screw that, I’m changing this and now.

I began looking online for solutions. How to make income online? How to replace your 9-5 income online? How to leave a corporate job?

I googled so many things.

This led me to trying many solutions. I tried MLM’s, creating my own platform and affiliate marketing.

All worked to some degree but I had moments of greatness followed by confusion and the inconsistent ups and downs of income.

Over time, I began to discover the secrets, what worked, what didn’t. I did finally create my own platform, The Ultimate Freedom Academy so I could help others do the same. It took me several years to have success online and build that consistency in my income that not only replaced my 9 to 5 corporate income, but flew past it.

Today, I have accomplished more than I set out to in the beginning. I started selfishly to replace my income and become my own boss. Which led me to the place where I’m at today, helping others do the same in 20% less time and effort than it took me.

Today I work on my own terms, travel, spend more time with my wife and kids while making more money than I thought was possible on less effort.
